Immanuel exists as a simple faith community to encourage, equip, enfold, and engage all people—reimagining what it looks like to live our lives in response to what we’ve discovered about God.
We endeavour to love like Jesus so we can bring real hope, healing, and wholeness right where we live —and leave the world a little brighter as we continue to practice Jesus' call to love God and neighbour. We will work to do our faithful bit with humility, and hope and trust that God will use our hands for His good plans.
Life moves fast, but the way of Jesus is spacious. We value uncluttered lives and an uncluttered faith that frees us up to live generously, love deeply, and leave the heavy religious baggage behind.
Faith is a lifelong journey of curiosity. As we look at the teachings of Jesus, we ask a guiding question: If we believe God loves each of us, how does that change the way we live? Everywhere we go, God is already at work—bringing hope, love, and restoration—and calling us to join Him there.
We believe something amazing happens when people gather. We want to be a home for the curious, the tired, and the hopeful. We seek to bridge generations by growing young, to nurture deep internal relationships, and to be a place of authentic care and friendship.
If we believe that God’s invitation is for us to join Him in the work He is already doing, how does that change the way we look at this beautiful world? We step up to the plate, taking responsibility to be the hands and feet of Jesus right where we live.
We don't just talk about a better world; we build it. Through continuous learning—outside of Sunday and into our everyday lives—we embrace the central message of Jesus: to stop simply keeping the peace, and start actively creating it.
